What is the AGEC law?Updated 10 hours ago
Voted in France in February 2020, the Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy (AGEC) law aims to profoundly transform our production and consumption systems.
Its main objectives are to:
- Eradicate the use of single-use plastics by 2040.
- Better inform consumers (traceability, recycling instructions).
- Actively fight against waste and encourage reuse.
- Promote product repairability and eco-design.
At JULES & JENN, these principles are not a constraint, but the very foundation of our DNA since our creation. The total traceability of our materials, our encouragement of repair (via the Refashion network), and our sensible production perfectly align with this circular approach.
